A well known preacher of the twentieth century once described very vividly the state of the world in his day. And, by no coincidence the world in his day looks just like the world today!
Just like today, he described a world full of inhabitants that owe no allegiance to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Let’s discuss!
Decayed
If you look around at the world today, you see a world that is spiritually and morally decayed. A world that is rotten to its core, a world that is defiled and full of filth.
But, if you believe the well known preacher, you would get an understanding of why the world is in the state that it is in.
There is a spiritual war that seems to have been raging for a very long time!
War in the heavens
There is a war that has been raging in the heavens that directly impacts this world. How do we know, scripture tells us.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12 KJV)
Because of this, Paul warned all who are willing to listen, to put on the full armor of God and prepare for battle.
But, there is more!
Of CHRIST!
The scripture clearly defines that our Christ died to claim for himself a people of His own possession:
"Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." (Titus 2:14 KJV)
He gave himself as ransom for many:
"For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." (Mark 10:45 KJV)
Though, He is the Savior of all men; He will forever have more haters than lovers.
"For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe." (1 Timothy 4:10 KJV)
This proves our opening statement: that we as believers live in a world that possess people who owe NO ALLEGIANCE to our GOD.
NO ALLEGIANCE…
If they hate our Christ, they hate our God and if they hate our God; they hate us! So what do we do?
One! We do not compromise our Gospel! We do not hide the truth to appease a people who hate our God!
Two! We recognize these people as those who are destined to spend an eternity in hell. And, because of this, we follow our Christ Great Commission and share with them the Good news of the Gospel of His Grace.
Finally! We go on to the next! Understanding, that it is not our responsibility to make anyone believe us. It is our responsibility to warn all who will listen of the truth!

If you are here today and you cannot stand my God and hate my Christ. Know that He still has a place for you; He will turn away no one who turns to Him.
Confess and believe on the Lord Jesus!
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 KJV)
