At the voice of the Son of God, all from Adam wherever he is, all who are in the sea, all who are in death and Hell; shall rise to face the eternal judge. Imagine looking into the sky and seeing the the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, coming in the clouds with ten thousand of His saints!

That is how He will return; do not believe me let’s turn to the book of Jude and see what Enoch prophesied:

“And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” - (Jude 1:14-15 KJV)

That’s what will happen on that great day when our Lord and Savior returns to pass judgment! Remember, this will be the final judgment!

The hour is coming

This takes us to our verse today; which is taken from our Lord’s Gospel as recorded by John. Our Lord states:

“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” - (John 5:28-29 KJV)

This record from John reminds us that the hour is coming in which all shall stand before the Son of God. Keep in mind this was recorded well over two thousand years ago; how much closer do you think we are to His coming today!

Unto the Resurrection

When the Lord says; “RISEall will get up and go to face the “Eternal Judge”! WE will line up as we are reminded from our verse today; some will rise to the resurrection of life and some will rise to the resurrection of damnation. You do not see any exceptions nor do you see anyone who will be exempt but you do see that all will rise!

Are you ready?

If you do not know Him; as you sit here today you still have time to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior but not too much time! As we have discussed today, He is coming! We do not know when but we do know what He will be like, who He will be with and why He will be returning.

Take this time to confess and believe on our Lord and Savior; for as Paul states:

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”- ( Romans 10:9-10 KJV)

For those who have accepted Him as your Lord and Savior; you still have time too! Time to shape up your prayer life, your devotional life, your Christian life! For as John records for us in verse twenty eight of chapter two of first John; we do not want to be ashamed at His coming

“And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.” - (1 John 2:28 KJV)

Yes, our Lord is coming back; make sure you are ready!
