“Why are you JUST now telling ME?”

If you know the goodnews of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; tell somebody!

Mystery of Christ

The story as told from one of the twentieth centuries greatest preachers goes as follows. In a small town there lived a man who claimed to know the goodnews of the Gospel.

This man lived for decades knowing the mystery of Christ:

"Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ"
(Ephesians 3:4 KJV)

However, he very rarely shared the story.

Just now telling me

We know, because one day a young man asked our “Christ follower”; a simple question.

Upon hearing this decades long follower of Christ; finally speak about the goodnews of the Gospel. The young man asked; “Why are you just now telling me this?”

The young man then said something along the lines of:

“If you have known this all of these years; why are you just now telling me? You could have told my father and saved him from where you say he is right now! You have lived here for decades. Why are you just now saying something?”

Tell somebody

Reader, the above still rings true! How many of us “saints” actually share the goodnews?

How many of us actually, tell somebody!

You and I benefit from a Gospel that is dripping in blood!

The blood of the prophets, saints of old, men and women martyred for the Gospel and the blood of our Christ!

You and I know this and we have a responsibility to tell somebody!

Do not..

The young man in this story had a reason to be upset.

Here lived a man carrying the greatest message that this world has ever known and he told no one!

Do not let this be you!

Tell somebody that the Christ is the ONLY SAVIOR!

"For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe."
(1 Timothy 4:10 KJV)

We live in generation that is dying to know the Christ and they do not even know it!

Go tell somebody!
