"And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:" - (Revelation 1:17 KJV)

This account is from John the disciple! Yes, the same John, who walked with, talked with, ate with, lived with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ during His time on earth.

Witnessed many of the miracles

John, was one of three disciples who went up with our Christ on the Mount of Transfiguration. He penned an account of our Lord’s Gospel along with four other books of the Bible; he knew our Christ very well. Having witnessed many of the miracles which; he stated in his version of our Lord’s Gospel as:

"And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen." - (John 21:25 KJV)

While stranded on the island of Patmos, for our Lord’s Gospel; our Lord’s revelation would be revealed to him for him to record:

"I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ." - (Revelation 1:9 KJV)

What are you going to do?

Seeing who John was to our Lord; and knowing that even still when he saw our Christ in His true form, he was terrified! Or, in John’s own words; he fell at His feet as dead! What are you going to do?

John saw the same Lord in all of His majesty; the same Lord that we will see standing at the end of the trail for us. The same Lord that we will all stand before on that eternal day of judgment. For as Paul states we shall all appear before Him to give in account for the deeds done in the body:

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." - (2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV)

Our Christ

Yes, we will get to stand before our Christ; knowing that He will not look like the pictures that we have all seen. He will look nothing like the blasphemous graven images that were made to trick us! No, when you and I see Him in all of His majesty you and I will respond the exact same way… that John did!

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, now is the time. Confess and believe in the Lord Jesus for as Paul states:

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." -
(Romans 10:9-10 KJV)
