Reader, let’s talk about the enemy and his original lie!
Surely DIE
Do you remember satan’s original lie?
No, we are not talking about the lie that he told Eve.
The lie that she would not surely die.
"And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." (Genesis 3:5-6 KJV)
Even though the above lie is at the top of his arsenal.
And, he has reused it for generation after generation.
This is not the enemies original lie.
Original LIE
Satan’s original lie is the one that he told to himself.
I will let the precious prophet Isaiah remind you of the lie that satan told himself.
"For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High." (Isaiah 14:13-14 KJV)
And, we know that the lie that he told to himself got him thrown like lightning from Heaven.
"And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven." (Luke 10:18 KJV)
Then, there are those who he lied too!
Eternal torment
You see the lie that satan told himself also affected others.
For those who believed in his lie and tried to help him.
They got themself a place of eternal torment created:
"Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels" (Matthew 25:41 KJV)
Enter mankind
Alright, what about the son’s of Adam and daughter’s of Eve?
How many times have the “same satan”; whispered in mans ear that he can be like God?
Listening to the enemy, man has gone so far as to say that there is no GOD!
Reader, if there is no GOD who was satan trying to be?
Do not BELIEVE
Do not believe the lies of this liar. This liar is the enemy of the Cross of Christ!
Never forget that anyone who will lie to themself will surely lie to you!
He has been and forever will be known as the father of liars.
"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." (John 8:44 KJV)
Lying is all that he knows and that is all that he can do!
Dump that LIAR
As you read this now, this father of lies is surely telling you some type of lie.
You would not let a man or woman around you that lies all of the time.
So why are you letting this liar hang onto you?
Why are you letting a lying leech have control over your life?
Send him fleeing! Remind him that he is the greatest liar of all!
…”Remember, he even lied to himself”…
