Reader, the world would have you believe that the Lord has forsaken this earth.

See not

Both the believer and the nonbeliever can agree that the days of which we currently live are horrid.

We live in a land that boils with blood and a city that is full of perverseness.

"Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The Lord hath forsaken the earth, and the Lord seeth not."
(Ezekiel 9:9 KJV)

And, there is not one place that you can go on this earth where this will not be true!

In order to..

In order to live in such a horrid time, man must lie to himself.

Just as in the days of the precious prophet Ezekiel, mankind must tell itself that the Lord has forsaken the earth.

This is the justification to live, drink and be merry. For to those who have no hope; they must live today for tomorrow they will die.

"If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die."
(1 Corinthians 15:32 KJV)

Goodness of the Lord

But, for those of us who believe in Jesus Christ; the above has no truth!

For us, we have hope! That hope is wrapped in the belief that we still see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

"I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living."
(Psalm 27:13 KJV)

It does matter what is going on in the morally and spiritually decayed world around us.

For we know that the goodness of the Lord is still in the land of the living.

Because tomorrow

If the unholy world has convinced you that the Lord has checked out!

And, in your heart, you believe that the Christ is not coming back.

Then, continue on eating, drinking and being merry. Because tomorrow you shall surely die!

But, if you aren’t convinced and know that you do not want to die.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ!

"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."
(Acts 16:31 KJV)

I’ll say it one last time; the goodness of the Lord is still in the land of the living.
