Believer, do you remember when you first got SAVED?
Do you remember the love that you had for the Christ who redeemed you from your wicked, horrible life?
Do you remember how you could not stop talking about; your Christ?
What happened?
Remember
Believer, what happened to that overwhelming, super natural love that you used to have for the ALL Sufficient Savior. Remember, how He SAVED you from the sin filled, evil, wretched life that you used to have.
Remember, He removed from you ALL of those “creepy horrible things that used to master you”. Do you remember how you loved your NEW life in Christ?
Used to be…
Remember!
Remember, where He brought you from. His Word says:
"For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another." (Titus 3:3 KJV)
How could you forget?
When did you fall into your “Creature Comforted Christian” life?
I beg you..
Believer, I beg you!
REMEMBER, that love that you once had. If you have lost that burning love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ; search and do not stop until you have reclaimed it.
Hunt for it as if your SOUL depends on it, because it does. Everyday that you let your blazing fire for Christ burn out; you are getting colder and colder and colder.
Cold to the things of Christ and warmer to the things of this world. And, eventually the saddest thing will be said about you!
The saddest thing
A well known preacher once summed up what it means to be a SAINT. And, in his summation he defined for us the saddest thing that can be said about a Christian.
One is that he or she becomes apart of this world.
Two, he or she has forgotten to protest the current moral order.
And finally, he or she is no longer a SAINT.
If any of these define you; go after the Christ! Hunt for Him! He is not hard to find! He can always be found sitting on His throne of Mercy and Grace!
Get your love for the Gospel back before you become a “used to be Saint”.
