As we sit here today, many inhabitants of the earth are on their way to hell! Some do not know and some know and do not care. If you are one of those who do not know of the eternal torment that awaits or if you are one of the many who do not believe that hell is real; today’s reminder is for you!
Eternal Darkness
I can turn to our Lord’s Word and provide you scripture after scripture of the precious prophet Isaiah warning of the eternal torment that is hell.
Or, I could quote our Lord and Savior who spoke of the fallen angels, hell, everlasting torment, etc. Or, I can provide an example from one of the millions who have descended into that place of eternal torment.
So dark!

The above account was recorded by a preacher in the twentieth century. The preacher was making his way to this person but arrived too late. He reached this person just after her soul had left her body. Realizing that this woman was no longer in the land of the living; the preacher hollered out; “What do you see?”
The words came back from a terrified voice; a voice that sounded as if it was not of this world! A voice that came from a woman who had left this life without knowing Jesus as Lord. A woman who had made it to the place of eternal darkness and eternal torment.
Oh my, what have I done?
“Oh my, oh my, what have I done. There is something very wrong, there is something very wrong, there is something very wrong.”
-Dying words from the mouth of a Christ hating man
The above account came from the lips of a man who spent his life laboring for satan. A man who should have been happy to die; a man who thought he knew what he believed. This man had the same ending as all of those who leave this life without knowing Christ as Lord.
It took a vision into the next life for this man to realize that hell is real. In the last seconds of this mans life he realized that God will not be mocked. He found out the hard way that Christ is not the one to play with!
The above came from the lips of a man who realized that satan is a terrible task master!
Why?
So, why am I recounting these stories? To remind you of what awaits those who do not know Christ as Lord. The above is hard to write about. As I sit here, it is a horrible thing knowing that these two souls have been burning in hell!
It is a horrible thing to hear the last words of a lost soul. So, I write this to warn you! If you do not know Christ as Lord; repent, confess and believe. Christ is the ONLY way to avoid this torment.
AS I said at the beginning, many are heading to join the souls in this story; you do not have to be one of them! Our precious brother Paul told us all what to do; he said:
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 KJV)
There are ONLY two roads at the end of this life; one leads to eternal torment and the other to eternal peace. You determine which road awaits you!
