Sooner than we can imagine our Lord will convene His eternal court. But, what will that day be like; let’s think about it together.

Longer than a day…

As we live in time, we do not know much about the day when our Lord will convene His eternal court. But, we can grasp that the judgment of all of the world will take longer than a day. For our Lord will call everyone from Adam, to you, to me, to the last individual who will ever be born on this earth.

All must stand at the Judgment Seat of Christ, to give in account for the deeds done in the body. How do we know? The bond servant of God and the apostle of Jesus Christ, told us!

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." (2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV)

We know this will take longer than a day but as one of the twentieth centuries greatest preachers once said:

“It does not matter because you are not going anywhere”

You will wait as the King of Kings passes the final judgment on the world.

The place to be..

Another thing that we do know, is that, it is going to be crowded! Everyone that you have ever read about, will be there! People that you knew in this life, will be there. The most vilest individual to the most precious of saints, will be there!

If you make it to the judgment of the saints; you will see the individuals that you have read about in your Bible. Enoch, Abel, Moses, Abraham, the precious Isaiah, the sweet saint Job, Daniel and Paul.

You will also see the world’s greatest saints. They will all be there, awaiting their turn at judgment. You know, George Muller, Allen Gardiner, William Booth, Sarah Cooke, Fanney J. Crosby, the sweet saint Hattie Mae and David Brainard.

Yes, for the righteous and redeemed the Judgment Seat of Christ will definitely be the place to be…

Eternal Torment

Above, I highlight the judgment of the righteous and the redeemed. For we know, that the destination for the unrighteous and non-redeemed is eternal torment.

"And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." (Daniel 12:2 KJV)

As I stated at the beginning, we do not have all of the answers now. But, we have been provided all of the answers that we need to begin preparing for our final judgment today.

Confess and believe in the Lord Jesus as our precious brother Paul states:

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 KJV)

Christ stands at the end of the trail for each and everyone of us. When you see Him, you want to know Him as Lord!
