Believer, I am writing you today to remind you; that you have dishonored your heritage and you are wasting your inheritance.
The Gospel
As a believer of Jesus Christ, you belong to an unworldly heritage and benefit from the most precious inheritance.
This heritage has roots all the way back to the shed blood of Abel. It was then picked up and passed on by Abraham, David, Samuel, Isaiah and Jeremiah.
You sit reaping the inheritance that saints of old were martyred for!
Saints who died some of the most horrific deaths; in order to pass onto you; the Gospel!
You have inherited an inheritance that is not of this world; what have you done with it?
Blood of true saints
I will tell you! You have done absolutely nothing with the greatest gift that this world has ever known! You sit here today as a “Creature Comforted”, “Soft Belly Saint”!
Picking up your Bible on Sunday’s; raising your hands, singing praises, nodding at the preachers teaching and mingling with your friends.
Then, you place on the shelf, an inheritance that has been drenched with the blood of true saints!
for GRANTED
What gives you the right to take the Gospel for granted. What if Paul, and the saints who were martyred for Christ; would have been like you?
Why do you get to take the Gospel for granted? Is it because it cost you nothing?
Reader, I write from a place of understanding because I am just like you!
I am a sloppy Christ follower, the least among all saints and am more that ready to sleep along the outskirts of our Heavenly Father’s kingdom!
I know what I am but what about you?
Greatest gift..
I will always have an absolute regard for the saints who would rather die than fail Christ. Why? Because I know, that they knew, what they were dying for!
And, not to mention the ONE who tread His lonely way to the Cross!
What is wrong with you and me?
When did it become okay to take for granted the greatest gift that this world has ever known?
Judge your own life
I cannot answer these questions for you. You have to JUDGE your own Christian life!
Remember, if you cannot judge your own life NOW how will you one day stand before the Judge of All of the Earth.
You have taken the gift of God for granted. I am so glad that our God once had real saints. Saints who knew better than to be sorry, sloppy, embarrassments like us!
Believer, get to work! You have some gift that you can offer to the Kingdom of God.
Stop wasting your inheritance and ignoring your heritage.
