Do you know “the Christ” that is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords? If not, keep reading! If you think you know Him, keep reading!

King of Kings

Our Lord’s Gospel defines our Christ as the King of Kings! How do we know? For one, our precious brother Paul told us.

"Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords" (1 Timothy 6:15 KJV)

Then the precious disciple John testified to it!

"These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful."
(Revelation 17:14 KJV)

And, finally our Lord and Savior himself told us who He is:

"And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords." (Revelation 19:16 KJV)

So, what does that mean?

The final word

That means, He gets the final word! What’s the final word? The final word is that He is returning to take vengeance upon this world.

"And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ"
(2 Thessalonians 1:7-8 KJV)

He will lead His mighty angels and ten thousand of His saints; as He executes judgment upon all of the ungodly!

"And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him." (Jude 1:14-16 KJV)

Who shall be able to stand? Remember, He is the King of Kings!

Then what?

He will seek vengeance upon the world but then what? He will reign over His eternal court. At His eternal court, we must all stand and give in account for the deeds done in the body!

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." (2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV)

As we stand at His judgment seat, He will pass judgment upon our lives. His judgment will be just; for He is the King of Kings!

"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." (John 5:30 KJV)

Now, back to you reader!

Do you know Him?

Do you know the Christ defined in the scriptures above? Or, do you know a different “christ”? If your answer is the latter, you are not ready for the things that must shortly come to pass.

"The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John"
(Revelation 1:1 KJV)

Confess and believe in the Lord Jesus! For when you look up in the sky and see Him heading toward this earth; it will be too late!

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
(Romans 10:9-10 KJV)
