To all of you would be “Kings of the earth”: this blog is for you!

..king..

Ruler, Head of State, Monarch, royal personage, lord, leader, chief.

Look around the world and you will find many who answer to any of the similar “King” words above.

O, how the world will marvel at these people. O, how inhabitants of the world loves to covet their vain lives!

But, why?

The Lord

We know that these people set themselves against the One True God.

"The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed.."
(Psalm 2:2 KJV)

We know that our God is terrible to the “Kings of this earth”!

"He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth."
(Psalm 76:12 KJV)

So, I’ll say again! Why do we covet the lives of these people?

Do not ASPIRE

I do not know about you but I do not aspire to end up in the pit!

I do not want a horrible eternal greeting from the once “Kings of this earth”.

"Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations."
(Isaiah 14:9 KJV)

The Lord has made it clear; the “Kings of this earth” have no regard for Him.

And, He will deal with them accordingly.

To you…

Are you going to keep clinging to the words of unrighteous, unholy individuals?

Or, are you going to cling to the eternal word of the only one who can save your soul?

"Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls."
(James 1:21 KJV)

The choice is yours!

And, just in case you need a final reminder.

Read what the Lord says will happen to the “Kings of this earth”!

"And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb."
(Revelations 6:15-16 KJV)

Again, the choice is yours!
