How often do you think of our Christ as the judge of all of the earth? Do you ever think about the final judgment of man? The judgment that will last for an infinite amount of time. A judgment that will start with Adam and end with the very last human ever born on this earth?
Regardless of your answer, we will think about it together, today!
Final Judgment
If you have never heard, here’s the news! We shall all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ to give in account for the deeds done in the body.
"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." (2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV)
When our Lord’s Word says; “All”; He means All.
All of the greatest saints that this world has ever known to greatest scum that this world has ever known.
But, what about the judge?
The Judge of all of the Earth
We know that sitting before each of us will be the Christ! He will pass judgment on the upper echelon of saints all the way to the greatest of sinners.
He will see those who were martyred in His name and He will see those who died cursing His name.
Before Him will stand every prophets and saint who was recorded in His Holy Word and every man who has ever blasphemed His Holy name.
And, there is Pilate, Herod and Judas; they all must stand before a Christ who has always been the Judge of all of the Earth.
shall the Judge of the Earth do right
Before Him will stand all of those who helped crucify Him; all of those who mocked and abused Him.
Standing before Him will be every man and woman who has ever walked this earth and never confessed Him to be Lord.
Not to mention the men and women who have committed some of the most heinous demonic atrocities that this world has ever known!
What about those who have fallen victim to the monsters that walk this earth? Will the judge of all of the earth do right?
What I do know…
As I sit here in time and contemplate these things; I cannot help but return to the answer. The judge of all of the earth shall do right! How do I know?
Because His Holy Word tells me so:
"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." (John 5:30 KJV)
as I stand before my Christ
As I wait for the Lord to pull the record of my poor life; I will not worry about my life in Christ. It will be the things that I will miss in my Christian life that worries me!
It will be the times that I will fail and the times that I may miss His voice that will follow me to the Judgment Seat!
But I know as I stand there before my Christ with the eyes of all of the saints of all of the ages fixed upon me; the judge of all of the earth shall do right!
