One of the twentieth centuries greatest preachers once described our response to the return of our Christ! He said, when our Christ returns He should catch us: “Waiting, Watching, Longing and Wanting”!
Our Christ
All of CREATION, the demons in hell, the principalities not of this world, the angels in Heaven, those who are asleep in Christ and the Christ followers on this earth; know that our Christ is set to return.
Scripture tells us that no one knows the hour when the Son of Man will re-appear and that we are to always be prepared:
"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." (Matthew 24:36 KJV)
"Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." (Matthew 24:44 KJV)
Not READY
I cannot fathom the thought of what it would be like to not be ready in the hour when the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords makes His return to this earth.
Think about it!
As a true believer in the Lord Jesus; we long to return to that Great Shepherd of the Sheep!
So, shouldn’t we always be “Waiting, Watching, Longing and Wanting”!

I agree with the preacher! The one thing we all should be doing is “Waiting, Watching, Longing and Wanting”!
I am the first one to tell anyone that I do not know anything except Jesus Christ and Him crucified!
"For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified." (1 Corinthians 2:2 KJV)
To this I will add, I know that my Christ is returning to this earth!
And this time, there will be NO swaddling clothes or manger.
He will not be alone, He will be accompanied by ten thousands of His saints and His mighty angels.

For the unbeliever the above will bring absolute terror! But, for the true believer, YOU KNOW that your salvation will be in Him!
"And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels" (2 Thessalonians 1:7 KJV)
