If you are a Christ follower and you are finding it harder and harder to stay on the straight and narrow path; this blog is for you!

Christian Walk

We know that the path that we walk on in Christ is straight and narrow:

"Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
(Matthew 7:14 KJV)

We also know that there will be few that will stay on the narrow path and make it to life eternal.

You may know many “used to be” Christ followers or you yourself may be one. Or, you may be getting ready to fall off the narrow path.

You may be finding this life in Christ hard and you do not know why or how to stay on the path. Well, here is the answer!

in the Way of the LORD

At the end of each our paths, stands the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords!

What does that mean? That means our Christ is witnessing every step that we are taking. Each time you think of stepping off of the straight and narrow; He sees it! Each time you look back at the life that you used to have; He knows it!

He knows each time you ponder dropping your pilgrim’s papers and joining this world. And, just as He stands at the end of your trail; He is going to judge you for all of it.

How harder then does it become to stay on the straight and narrow?

Set your sight

Or, does it become easier knowing that as you walk by faith toward your King; eventually you are going to make it to the end of the path.

And, at the end of that path will stand a Christ that you will not be ashamed to stand before!

"And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming." (1 John 2:28 KJV)

Personal Accountability

Reader, if we lived each day remembering that we are personally accountable to the King of Kings; our walk should not be that hard.

Yes, the scripture says that:

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Romans 8:1 KJV)

Accepting Christ does not mean that you wont answer for your life; if it did why would Paul pen such words as:

"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."
(2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV)

Your pilgrimage…

We all must carry our own Cross and follow Christ:

"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." (Luke 9:23 KJV)

The journey is not an easy one; for our God did not intend it to be!

If you are reading this and you are finding your journey to be easy; check your pilgrimage! Make sure you are still on the straight and narrow! Make sure that you have not dropped your pilgrims papers!

Look down and make sure you cannot see the path on which you are walking. For if you are walking by sight and not by faith; you have dropped your pilgrim’s paper. Reclaim them and get back on the narrow path; walk in the WAY of the LORD!
