Our Lord said, “repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
"From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Matthew 4:17 KJV)
Our Lord said this well over two thousand years ago; so how much closer do you think we are to His kingdom today? Let’s talk about it!
Look around
As we look around the world today, it is not hard to see the utter ungodliness and unholiness that the world spins in. Regardless of where you look, you see an utter disregard for our Lord, His Gospel and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
But, if you read our Lord’s Word, you know that we have been warned of such days as these. One of our Lord’s greatest apostles told us when he wrote his second letter to Timothy:
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." (2 Timothy 3:1-5 KJV)
And reader, we need no more proof of perilous days then the days that we are currently living in!
No one..
No one can say that the days that we are currently living in; hit mankind by surprise. No one can look to the Heavens and say; “Where is God”, “Why doesn’t God intervene” or “These days prove that there is no God”.
For we need no more proof of the existence of our Heavenly Father than the days that we are currently living in. And, if you are wondering where our Heavenly Father is, rest easy knowing that He is in the same place that He has always been.
"The Lord hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all." (Psalm 103:19 KJV)
REPENT!
Time is running out; these days are getting more and more ungodly. What do we do? Where do we find our security? How do we ensure that we are preparing for the coming kingdom of God?
Let’s return to our opening verse; there our Lord and Savior told us all what we must do! “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!”
If you are reading this today and you do not know Jesus Christ as Lord; repent! Our Lord is coming; repent! Time is running out; repent! That is the only thing that is going to save you from our Lord’s wrath; repent!!
Do not get deceived by the deceiver; repent! Christ is the only one that can save us; repent!
Time is running out
I am out of words, our precious brother Paul will tell you what to do! Our precious brother Paul states:
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 KJV)
Repent! Time is running out; this world is going to burn. The fire will come from our Lord and Savior; He will have ten thousand of His saints and His mighty angels. And nothing in all of creation will be able to stay His hand!
When you look up and see our Christ standing upon the earth; it will be too late! Repent!
