Possible destinations

Regardless of what this lying world may say; there is a life after this life. Yes reader, you will go on living after your mortal body ceases.

You may wonder where will I go when I die? Well reader you only have one of two possible destinations!

One will be a place of eternal rest and peace:

"He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness." 
(Isaiah 57:2 KJV)

And the other is the place that was created for satan and his angels:

"Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels"
(Matthew 25:41 KJV)

Today we are going to focus on the latter also known as the place of perdition!

Place of Perdition

We know from scripture that hell is a place of eternal torment! A place where the worm will never die and an eternal separation from the One True God.

"These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” 
(Matthew 25:46 KJV)

^"Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched." 
(Mark 9:44 KJV)

"Dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power" 
(2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 KJV)

But, have you ever truly taken a thought as to what that truly means! Have you ever truly wondered what it is like for the many souls who have spent their entire lives working to get to hell?

A mad man’s dream

I heard a wise preacher once describe the place of perdition as being “beyond a mad man’s dream”.

That could be an accurate summation and sadly so many will one day find out.

If you are here today, and you do not know Jesus Christ as Lord; then you will find out one day what the place of perdition is truly like. As you sit here now, you still have time to repent, confess and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

If you are here today, and you have been freed from an eternity of torment; then go free someone else!

Why?

Because someone that you and I have met, once called friend or have loved in this life is being tormented in the pit right now!

Save yourself then go save someone else!
