It does not matter who you think you are; you will eventually return to the dust! For as King Solomon states: from the dust we came and from the dust shall we all return.
"All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again." (Ecclesiastes 3:20 KJV)
Though the body shall return to the dust; we know that our life will go on. For there is a life that is waiting for all of us; let’s talk about it!
Nothing in exchange
There is nothing that you can exchange for an extra day on this earth. For when your time is up, it is up! For as our precious brother James states; our life is but a vapor!
"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." (James 4:14 KJV)
Life after Death
Scholars have spent years upon years theorizing, hypothesizing, examining and re-examining all in an attempt to discover what happens when the body returns to the dust.
One after another, they spend their time looking in all of the wrong places. The same book that tells us that our body shall return to dust tells us that life exists after death.
We can turn to the word of our Lord and Savior, who states in His Revelation where He will call souls from on that Great Day of Judgment.
"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works." (Revelation 20:13 KJV)
Yes, the answer can be found in the place where most refuse to look!
Enter into peace
Though, death and hell will be the place were most souls will spend their next life; some will find peace in the life to come. How do we know? The precious prophet Isaiah told us!
"He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness." (Isaiah 57:2 KJV)
For those who find peace as they lie in death will all have one thing in common; they will all have known Jesus Christ as their Savior. For there is no peace in the life to come for those who do not know Him.
If you are reading this today and do not know Jesus Christ as Lord; now it the time to confess and believe in Him. For as our precious brother Paul states:
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 KJV)
Our eternal life begins when the body returns to the dust. You want to spend your eternal life in eternal peace; not in eternal torment.
