My God is the ONE TRUE GOD! I thank Him always that His promises are true. When His scripture says;
"He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler." (Psalm 91:4 KJV)
Or, when His word tells me that:
"For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways." (Psalm 91:11 KJV)
He is telling the truth; how do I know? Let me tell you.
One evening
A few years ago, on a drive home from work. I was approaching an upcoming intersection which was a four lane road; two lanes going both directions. As I got closer to the intersection, I heard a small voice say, “When you turn, turn in the right lane”.
Seconds, before I approached the signal light; the light turned “green”. So, I made my right turn into the right lane; just as the small voice said. In that moment, time seemed to have stopped!
As I was turning, I saw out of the corner of my eye a red truck. In that moment, I had enough time to look at my signal light, his signal light, make my turn and see him clearly!
The driver of that red truck had run the red light! And, it is not hard to guess which lane he was in! He was in the left lane!
What if?
What if, in that moment in my life; my God was found slumbering? What if, my God, was not who He says that He is? What if, I worshiped one of the many false gods? Where would I be today? Where would I be if I did not know what I believe and who I believe in?
I will tell you, I would not be here today, to tell this story or to write these blogs or to pen these devotionals.
One GOD
There is only ONE TRUE GOD and He never fails. You cannot name one person in all of creation who can say, that the ONE TRUE GOD does not keep His promises.
Creation does not possess ONE SOUL who can say; that the ONE TRUE GOD led them astray. Or, that He ran off and left them. No, there is not one!
At the Judgment Seat of Christ, you will not find one person who will point their finger at the ONE TRUE GOD!
To remind you
I tell you of this true account to remind you that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; is who He says that He is. You are only able to read this today because His promises are true! If you are sitting here today and you do not know Him; it is time that you do!
If you do not have one, get you a Bible and start reading it. Confess and believe in the Lord Jesus and start praying.
