Believe in the Son of Man

“Oh my, oh my, What have I done? There is something very wrong, there is something very wrong, there is something very wrong” 

(Recorded last words of an enemy of the Cross of Christ)

These were the final words of a man who spent his life denying all things Christ and pushing the agenda of that “other kingdom”: that kingdom whose leader will be cast into the lake of fire at the final judgment.

“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
- ( Revelations 20:10 KJV)

Final words

These were the final words of a man who looked into eternity and saw hell and all of its inhabitants moving to meet him!

“Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.” 
- (Isaiah 14:9 KJV)

These were the final words of a man who saw hell enlarging itself to accept him along with all of those who were coming along with him.

“Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.” - ( Isaiah 5:14 KJV)

This may seem like one account from one person who by his own accounts was an atheist; but this account isn’t rare! This is the account of every soul who leaves this life without knowing Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

If no one has ever told you what the wages of sin are; I will tell you that the wages of sin is death:

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” - (Romans 6:23 KJV)

If no one has ever told you that hell is a real place; I will tell you that hell is a place of eternal torment. And a place where the precious prophet Isaiah reminds us that the worm shall not die:

“And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.” - 
(Isaiah 66:24 KJV)

You have a choice

In the final words of this poor soul; you see a cautionary tale! But just like this man, you have a choice! A choice whether to accept our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ or not!

If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior; now is the time. For as Paul states; if you confess and believe in the Son of Man you shall be saved!

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." 
- (Romans 10:9-10 KJV)

Don’t get out of this life without knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior!
