Dying man
Today’s reminder will be taken from a story of old.
There once laid a man on his deathbed. As this man laid dying he learned the hard way what the preacher of old once said:
“You learn how to live and as you live so you die”

The life that this man had lived was killing him!
And, to make death even worse; this dying man did not know Christ.
Twenty years ago
This dying man was not alone for there were others around trying to get him to repent and confess on the Lord Jesus.
In his miserable dying state, this man uttered a horrible truth. The man confessed that his time to accept Jesus had passed!
That his time was twenty years before! And, he knew now, that he had missed it!
As those around him watched; this poor soul would slip from this life!
Reader..
Reader, the man in this story uttered a horrible truth. When he had an opportunity to accept the Lord Jesus; he put it off!
He continued to live his life and he let his time run out!
So, as he laid there on his deathbed with his organs shutting down and his mortal body dying; he could no longer see that he could still call on the Lord.
Out of time
If you are here today and you do not know the Lord Jesus; a similar ending awaits you!
Laying on your deathbed, watching your wretched horrible life pass before your eyes and realizing that hell awaits.
As you read this today, you still have time!
As we live..
The wise preacher was right; “as we live, so we die”! None of us can see our expiration date but we can prepare for it!
The man in this story has spent over one hundred years being tormented by the flames.
He let his time run out. Do not let this be you!
Repent, confess and believe on the Lord Jesus:
"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." (Acts 16:31 KJV)
He will turn away no one who calls on His name!
"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." (John 6:37 KJV)
