Believer, you and I know that this world hates our God, His Living Word, the Christ and us!
So, “believer”, “borderline saint” and/or “creature comforted Christian”: I have a question for you?
How much longer are you going to go on trying to appease a world that hates your God?
Hates our God
"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you." (John 15:18 KJV)
This world has and always will hate everything about our Christ!
When has “this world”, who has its own “god”: ever loved our Christ!
"In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." (2 Corinthians 4:3 KJV)
Our Christ is not the “god of this world”!
Chosen out
But, here you sit, adamantly trying to make the Gospel match this world.
"If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you." (John 15:19 KJV)
Here you are trying to appease an ungodly world!
Why don’t you just go ahead and play in the world?
Serve God?
Why claim to “serve” a God that you really do not want? You are not doing the Gospel any good by pretending.
Go on!
The world will love to have you!
Eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow you shall surely die!
"And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die." (Isaiah 22:13 KJV)
The Choice is yours
The choice is yours! Either you will love this world and hate our God. Or, you will be the saint that you were called to be!
You cannot be both!
A “saint” is one who protest the current moral order!
But, you cannot protest something that you love.
And, you surely cannot make “the world” love our Christ!
Make a choice!
