There is only ONE who is qualified to be called the righteous judge. He is the only ONE who can be called true and just! And it is before Him that we shall ALL stand to give in account of ourselves at His Judgment Seat!
As recorded for us by our precious brother Paul in his epistle to the Romans:
“But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.” - (Romans 14:10 KJV) “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.” - (Romans 14:12 KJV)
Judgment of your life
It does not matter if you believe in Him or not. There will be no exemptions, you will not pass by Him or get through Him! But what you will do is stand before Him and give in account of yourself. As Paul reminds us in his second letter to Corinth:
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”- (2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV)
This will be the judgment of your life; and your life includes all of your actions, deeds and every idle word that you have spoken! As our Lord reminds us in His Gospel as recorded by Matthew:
“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” - (Matthew 12:36 KJV)
Only one whose judgment is true
Yes, there is only one just judge and His judgment is TRUE!
For John records our Lord’s words for us in his version of our Lord’s Gospel as:
“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”- (John 5:30 KJV)
“And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.” - (John 8:16 KJV)
Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess
And at His name every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess to God; that Jesus Christ is Lord!
“For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” - (Romans 14:11 KJV)
“That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” - (Philippians 2:10-11 KJV)
I will repeat, it does not matter if you believe in Him or not! When you see Him, you will confess that He is Lord!
Confess and believe
If you are reading this today and you know Christ as Lord, you know the one who will be across from you at the judgment seat.
If you are reading this today and you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior; now is the time to confess and believe in Him. For as Paul states:
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." - (Romans 10:9-10 KJV)
You can confess FREELY today while He still sits on a throne of mercy; or you can wait until that day when He sits on the throne of judgment. Remember, when He is sitting on His throne of judgment it will be too late!
