If you have been following along here on atabran; you know that I write for one purpose. That one purpose is to remind all who are willing to read, that there is only ONE WAY to a PEACEFUL ETERNITY.
Today’s blog is another reminder of the ONE WAY HOME!
Two OPTIONS…
There are two options which by default means that there can only be ONE CHOICE. You may ask, what are the two options?
The answer is: Christ or “not Christ”! To choose the “not Christ” option means to choose death.
For as our Lord’s Word tells us, that He gave His life as ransom for many:
"For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." (Mark 10:45 KJV)
Dying for the sins of the world:
"And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." (1 John 2:2 KJV)
Make NO mistake
Choosing to NOT accept His sacrifice is choosing death. How do we know? Our Lord’s Word told us:
"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:17-18 KJV)
Again, there are two choices.. To accept the all sufficient Savior or not accept Him. Reader the choice is yours!
If you…
If you are here today and you do not know our Christ; you are of this world. And, this world has a “god”! Our Lord’s Word refers to him as the “god of this world”:
"In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." (2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV)
The “god of this world” is a deceiver and he has blinded you! The only way to get from under his deception is to call on the CRUCIFIED CHRIST!
As our precious brother Paul said confess and believe in the Lord Jesus!
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 KJV)
ONE CHOICE…
There are two options; which by default leads to ONE CHOICE. That choice has an outcome for all of us. For some the outcome will be to spend an eternity in torment. For some, the outcome will mean an eternity in peace. How do we know?
See the words from the precious prophet Daniel:
"And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt." (Daniel 12:2 KJV)
Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to an ETERNALLY PEACEFUL LIFE!!
