As you can see from the title; today we will be reliving the final moments of another lost soul.
Come back tomorrow
The story below is as once told from one of the twentieth centuries greatest preachers.
The preacher arrived to the house of a dying man. That dying man professed the want to know a pure and undefiled God. To that the preacher responded; that is what I came to talk to you about.
The dying man said; “Come back tomorrow.” To that the preacher said; “Okay, what time would you like for me to return?”
They agreed on a time and the preacher left; knowing that he would return the next day.
Arrived in hell
The preacher would return to the home the following day, just as he had promised. When he stepped into the room; he saw the man eating some grapes.
Once the dying man saw him; he unleashed a ferocious and venomous slew of words onto the great preacher. The preacher told of how badly that dying man cursed him.
This all took place at one o’clock.
The preacher would get no where with the man who had obviously made up his mind.
Later, the preacher would find out that the dying man would arrive in hell at 3 o’clock!
Pure and undefiled
Reader, let us discuss!
The day before he died, the dying man had a want to know a religion that was pure and undefiled.
And, though he was dying, he put off hearing about that religion unto the next day.
And, within those next few hours, that man had come to a decision that he no longer wanted God!
But, how?
So what happened? What could have changed his mind? How in such a few short hours can a man’s heart become stone?
Reader, it happens every second of every day!
This man put off the only decision that mattered in his life. And while waiting to make what would become his final decision on this earth; he became another lost soul!
Putting off Christ that one last time solidified that he would become another soul claimed by hell!
Hell
Reader, I have written blog after blog after blog on hell.
Lost souls who made their decision. In this case, this dying mans indecision was his decision.
Do not let this be you!
If you want a religion that is pure and undefiled it is the Christ!
Only Savior
He is man’s only Savior:
"For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe." (1 Timothy 4:10 KJV)
As you read this blog, you have time to confess and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ!
"And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." (Acts 16:31 KJV)
Our Christ would have reached down and pulled this man out of the outskirts of hell. But, this man did not want Him.
I’ll leave you with this; if you live long enough without making a decision.
You too will find out that indecision is a decision!
