Reader, when is the last time you took the time to judge your life?
DEEDS done in the BODY
Regardless of what the unbelieving world says; we will all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ.
Before the Christ, we will give in account for the deeds done in the body.
"For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." (2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV)
Just Judge
As we stand and give in account for our lives; we will stand before a just judge.
In that time in eternity, our Lord said that as He hears He will judge.
"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." (John 5:30 KJV)
And, His judgment will be just!
You may say; “How do I know that the Lord’s judgment will be just?”
Well, let’s start with what He will be judging!
Your LIFE
On display will be your life!
I will repeat! Your life will be what the Lord will judge!
These will be things that you have done in the body.
No tricks will await you and you won’t be surprised by anything that will be on display!
Embarrassing
If you cannot judge your own life; how do you expect to stand in front of millions and watch as the Christ judges your life.
How embarrassing will it be to have every deed, idle word and secret sin revealed?
Again, these will all be things that you have done!
Reader, now is the time to start preparing for your final judgment.
Unbeliever
You don’t even believe in the Christ so you know that you are going to hell. You just don’t know how bad the torments of hell will be for you.
Believer
How embarrassing it will be when you realize all of the richness of Christ that you left in this life.
Stop banking on Romans chapter eight verse one:
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit." (Romans 8:1 KJV)
The Apostle who penned that verse is the same person who penned the reminder about the Judgment Seat.
And you better believe that he will not bring that verse to his judgment!
Now is the time
Believer or unbeliever, the Lord will be justifed and clear in His judgment of your life.
"Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest." (Psalms 51:4 KJV)
Now is the time to start preparing for your final judgment!
