What will a man give in exchange for his soul?

In exchange for..

Do you remember when that evil serpent said the following to the King of Kings:

"Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me." (Matthew 4:8-9 KJV)

In his stupid attempt to tempt the Christ; he showed his hand.

He told ALL; that the kingdoms of the world are HIS to GIVE. And, for anyone who is stupid enough to make an EXCHANGE with him; he will give to them all of the desires of the heart.

He will gladly give money, prestige, power, notoriety, fame, etc; all one has to do is make an EXCHANGE.

What is the EXCHANGE?

The EXCHANGE

Let take today’s example from a well known man. The world considers him to be the “Father of the Blues” and for him to earn such a title he had to make an EXCHANGE.

The EXCHANGE was said to take place at a crossroads one night in Mississipi. There this man was said to have traded his immortal soul for the ability to play music.

Go read the full story for yourself but remember stories like the above are often glossed over and glamorized. They are never used to warn others not to make the same mistake!

You see, that night at that crossroads, that young man made an eternal mistake!

Father of the Blues

Standing at that crossroads that night was the “soul hating”, “soul stalking”, “devouring”, “enemy of the Cross of Christ”. And, he got what he wanted and that young man got what he wanted.

Though this tale would follow the singer ALL the DAYS of his LIFE; he would still go on to be known as the “Father of the Blues”.

He would die at the age of twenty seven of “unknown causes”. Let’s discuss the “unknown cause”!

..Eternal exchange..

“Unknown cause” or was it a “supernatural cause”? You see, this man made a deal and that deal had expired.

It was time to pay the eternal price, for an eternal exchange with the enemy of all men!

"For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"
(Mark 8:36 KJV)

"Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Mark 8:37 KJV)

Reader, the above is a price that is too heavy to pay! Though this story dates back almost one hundred years; men and women are still seeking out the same EXCHANGE today.

The above is not an cautionary tale; it is a story that will go on repeating itself until our Christ returns to this earth.

If you are here today and you are an unbeliever; you may have NEVER thought of making such a deal.

But, the reality is, that if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior; you by default have chosen satan.

If you are here today as a believer, and you are living with no regard for the many souls that are flocking to hell; it’s time for you to get to work.
