Other christ: The one that did not exist, that was just another prophet..

I do not know that “other christ”. “That christ” that is a good guy, the one that did not die, the one that has not come yet, the one that was just another prophet.

“That christ” with the flowing hair, outstretched hands and welcoming eyes. Let’s be very clear, I do not know “that christ”! I do not know “the christ” that the world adores, the passive one, the dismissive one, the one who could not save himself so how could he save us.

No, I do not know “the christ” that was invented in hell!

Except the crucified Christ

I am here to tell you today, that I do not know anything… except the crucified Christ!!

"For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified." (1 Corinthians 2:2 KJV)

I do not know anything other than the Christ who died for our sins, who was buried in a borrowed tomb, who rose on the third day!

"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures" (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 KJV)

This is all that I know! I do not know anything else!

And if anyone…

And if anyone tells you anything other than this; our precious brother Paul says; let them be accursed.

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." (Galatians 1:8 KJV)

I DO NOT CARE who it is! If they are telling you about “a christ” that is not the crucified Christ: let our precious brother Paul say it again!!

"As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." (Galatians 1:9 KJV)

Declaring unto you

I am here only to declare to you, the testimony of God!

"And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God."
(1 Corinthians 2:1 KJV)

There are no mixing of words, no heavy speech, nor any declaration that I am profound in knowledge or wisdom. Instead, I am here tell you that I do not know anything besides our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

For as our precious brother Paul states:

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
