There is only One who can take a “unholy man out of a unholy world; make that man holy, put that holy man back into an unholy world and keep that man holy“. This is only possible by the redemptive power of the blood of the lamb. For He is the only One who can turn your sins from scarlet to white as snow!

"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." - (Isaiah 1:18 KJV)

We have no better example of the redemptive power of Christ than in the life of one our Lord’s apostles; Paul.

Paul was once Saul

The accumulation of Paul’s life leaves him with the following title: a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ:

“Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;” - (Titus 1:1 KJV)

But he did not always carry this title; he once went by the name Saul. And as Saul, he had one mission and that was to exterminate the church of Jesus Christ

Terrorizing Christians

Saul, derived so much pleasure from tormenting Christ followers that those who witnessed the stoning of that precious saint Stephen laid their clothes at his feet.

“And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul.” -
(Acts 7:58 KJV)

Saul, would derive pleasure in terrorizing our Lord’s precious saints; often entering into their homes, ripping them out and having them thrown into prison!

“As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.” -
(Acts 8:3 KJV)

The road called Damascus

Torture happy Saul, headed toward the road called Damascus; with the sole purpose of finding more Christians that he could terrorize. As we know, Saul’s journey did not go as he had planned it.

Saul, would have an encounter with our Christ! An encounter that forever changed the life of this once cruel and evil man!

“And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.”- (Acts 9:3-6 KJV)

After changing his name to Paul, he would go on to be stoned, beaten, imprisoned, stranded, face hunger and thirst and many perils for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Redemptive Power of Christ

There is no better example than the life of Paul; when speaking of the redemptive power of our Lord and Savior. There is no other power above, under or in the earth that is greater than the redemptive power of Jesus Christ.

Now reader to you, there is no sin that our Christ did not pay for on the Cross. You see what Paul was; an evil, disgusting, vile, murderous, torturous human being and you see what he became! Our Lord and Savior did this for him and He will do it for you!

For as our precious brother Paul states:

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." -
(Romans 10:9-10 KJV)

There is no sin that is too great; call on the Lord Jesus before it is too late!
