Believer, what could make you turn your trust from the Lord?
His Covenant
Until I see that my God has been REMOVED from His throne. I will follow Him!
Until the day comes when His covenant is overturned. I will follow Him!
When I receive proof that His kingdom is NO MORE: then I will say; “Goodbye!”.
Until that happens, I will trust in the Lord.
PRONOUNCED
You may be reading this and saying; “Do not forget that God was pronounced dead, decades ago.”
To that I will say; “Show me the death certificate?”
“Who went to claim His body?”
Then I will wait!
Because, until I see proof, I will trust in the Lord.
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5 KJV)
Our God
Believer, this world has never loved our God! And, it has a long history of lying on our God.
Regardless, the truth remains the same!
Our God is the same yesterday, today and forever!
"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." (Hebrews 13:8 KJV)
His kingdom is everlasting!
"Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations."
(Psalms 145:13 KJV)
Trust in the Lord
To return to our opening question, is there ever a reason to turn from trusting the Lord?
My answer is simply this: show me His kingdom overthrown and a covenant that has run dry!
And, I will tell you, that both you and I will have good reason to flee.
Until that happens, trust in the Lord!!
