Today, we will remember a man who dedicated over five decades to the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
The world
“The world” has a habit of praising the dead. When a prominent member of “the world” dies; you see a plethora of slogans and phrases.
Similar too, “god bless the dead”, “rest in paradise”, etc.
But, what about the man who has dedicated over five decades to ministry?
In Touch Ministries
If you type the name, Dr. Charles Stanley into Google you will see him refered to as a “writer”.
Oh how quickly this unholy world will attempt to rewrite history.
Reader, Dr. Charles Stanley was not a “writer”.
Dr. Charles Stanley was a man who dedicated over half of his life to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This was a man who obeyed a calling! That calling led him to starting a “Chapel Hour”.
And, that “Chapel Hour” would become a ministry that would stretch all over the world.
PEACE
On April 18th, 2023, Dr. Charles Stanley entered into that eternal peace!
"The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness." (Isaiah 57:1-2 KJV)
When the roll is called
I write you today as one who had the privilege to hear In Touch Ministries.
My earliest rememberance of calling on Christ was performed standing in front of the television and led by Dr. Charles Stanley.
And, to this very day, I start many mornings with one of his sermons!
As the songstress says: “When the roll is called up yonder; I will be there.”
In that roll call will be Dr. Charles Stanley.
“Obey God and leave all the consequences to Him.”

Five decades of discipline, dedication and obedience. Oh, what an example!

Now is the time to repent, confess and believe in Him.
Call on the Lord Jesus Christ!
