Thief in the Night: Our Lord is coming! His arrival will be as a thief...

Today’s reminder is that the Lord is coming; as a thief in the night!

Eyes in the sky

Our Lord’s Word warns us that our Christ is set to return to this earth.

How do we know?

We know, because His Word says:

"For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." (1 Thessalonians 5: 2-3 KJV)

Even with the Lord’s warning, He will catch many without their eyes in the sky!

Watching, Waiting, Longing

Then, there will be those who like CREATION are watching, waiting and longing for the return of the Christ!

Those who like the precious patient saint Job who knows that one day our Christ will stand upon this earth!

"For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth"
(Job 19:25 KJV)

And, their still exist those who like the great saint John Wesley; will ensure that they are ready whenever the King arrives!

Our Christ

On that day when our Christ returns; there will be a few that are actually excited to meet Him.

Many will be asleep in Him; and many will still be alive and waiting for Him:

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." ( 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 KJV)

Then, there are the rest!

These individuals will meet a Christ who will be accompanied by ten thousand of His saints and His mighty angels!

"And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him." (Jude 1:14-15 KJV)

"And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ" (2 Thessalonians 1:7-8 KJV)

These individuals will not be prepared to handle Him!!!

Thief in the Night

Our Lord is coming and His arrival will be as a thief in the night!

If you are here and you have forgotten about His return or could care less about His upcoming arrival.

I am here to remind you that the Lord is coming!!

As long as He is seated at the right hand of God; He has grace to help you. You still have time to believe on Him and to prepare for Him.

Lastly, remember, this time when the Christ leaves His throne; He is coming to set the world on fire!
