Regardless of what this unholy, unrighteous world will have you believe: the Only God has never changed!
the Righteous
Today’s reminder will come from King David. Who else can remind us of how unchanging the only God is?
King David was once chosen of by the only God, then he went on to sin in the face of the only God and spent years of his life reaping what he sowed.
So when David tells us the following; we must believe him!
"I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.'' (Psalm 37:25 KJV)
..not seen..
King David as a older man, said he yet to see the righteous forsaken! Even through his debauchery stained life; the only God never left him!
You may be reading this and saying; “How was David righteous?”. Remember, when called to conviction; King David repented!”
So, when he says that the only God never forsakes the righteous he is telling the truth!
The same God
Reader, David is talking about the same eternal God. The same God that gives you the breath that you breathe:
"The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life." (Job 33:4 KJV)
The same God, who causes the earth to tremble:
"Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth." (Psalm 18:7 KJV)
Now, what say you!
Does not change
Reader, the story does not change!
Anyone who is truly coming in the name of the only God will have the same story!
A story that tells of a God that is eternal, everlasting and unchanging!
"Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding." (Isaiah 40:28 KJV)
You can go on believing what you want or you can put your trust in Him!
The choice is yours!
