The mouth or the heart; which one is not telling you the truth?
How many times..
A wise preacher once said:
“Your mouth says a lot of things that your heart does not believe.”

And, mankind has yet to prove this statement wrong.
How many times have you and I allowed our hearts and/or mouth to lie? Even to ourselves?
It is a shame to lie to someone else but how much more of a shame is it when one lies to himself?
CREATION remembers…
For there is no greater example of what happens when one lies to himself than the story of this worlds “god”.
Creation remembers when he told himself that he would be like the most High:
"For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High."
(Isaiah 14:13-14 KJV)
Creation also remembers how his lie got him thrown like lightning from heaven:
"And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven."
(Luke 10:18 KJV)
And, this was one who once treaded the streets of eternity. One once given a great gift by our God; so what about us?
Abundance of the HEART
For we know from today’s reminder and our Lord’s Word that:
"A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh."
(Luke 6:45 KJV)
So, let’s go back to our opening question.
Right now, one of the two is lying to you? Is it your heart or is it your mouth?
The question is simple, but the answer is hard. As you read this, you still have time to figure it out!
So, go figure it out before you end up dwelling amongst he who shall not be named!
