If you have been following along with me, you know that I write about a recurring topic and that is eternity. In an effort to remind all that at the voice of the Son of God; all shall rise and face the eternal judge.
For as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said himself:
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.” - (John 5:25 KJV)
All shall stand before the same Jesus Christ and give in account for the deeds done in the body. Recorded for us by Paul in his second letter to Corinth:
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” - (2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV)
Now that we have established that all shall stand before our Lord and Savior; let’s preview what that day may be like for some!
Standing there with nowhere to go
There you stand, in eternity, with nowhere to go, awaiting as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords calls you to His judgment seat.
Then our Lord’s angel pulls your record and it’s your turn! There you will stand paralyzed with fear as all listen to the record of your life! All of your sin(s) laid bare, all of your shame, all of the things that you thought that no one saw will be on display in eternity for millions and billions to see!
Everything that you have done in your life will be exposed at the Judgment Seat of Christ! The one thing that makes this worse is that in your life you did not accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and now it is too late!
Sealed fate
As you stand before the King of Kings, you know that you have sealed your fate and the lake of eternal fire is awaiting you and there is nothing you can do about it!
“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”- (Revelation 20:15 KJV)
Still have time
Of course, as you are reading this today you are still in time! So, you still have time; time to repent, confess and believe on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ before it is too late.
For Paul reminds us in the tenth chapter of the book of Romans:
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” - (Romans 10:9-10 KJV)
You do not want to step out of time into eternity without knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord.
