We shall all stand before the Judgment Seat of Christ and give in account for the deeds done in the body. As you sit here reading this today, do you know the One who will pass judgment on your life?
The same Jesus Christ
Do you know that we shall all stand before the same Jesus Christ, who was the word! The word that was with our God in the beginning:
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.”- (John 1:1-2 KJV)
The same Jesus Christ, by which all things were made!
"All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." - (John 1:3 KJV)
Yes, this is the same Jesus Christ who came down from His throne in the heavens to be a man of sorrows for us! As detailed for us by the precious prophet Isaiah:
“He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” - (Isaiah 53:3-5 KJV)
The same Jesus Christ who this world wanted so badly to kill; that they led Him as a lamb to the slaughter:
“He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.” - (Isaiah 53:7 KJV)
Yes, this is the same Jesus Christ, that will reign over the eternal court!
As He reigns
As He reigns over His eternal court; some will realize that this is not the Christ that the world defined! It will be in that crucial moment in eternity; where many will realize that they got Him wrong!
No biased judgment
Even though many will stand before Him; having denied Him as Lord. He will pass no biased judgment! The same Jesus Christ that judges the life of the world’s most precious saint will judge the life of the world’s most wretched being!
How do we know? Let’s turn to our Lord’s Gospel as recorded by John and read what our Lord states about His judgment:
"I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me." - (John 5:30 KJV)
"And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me."- (John 8:16 KJV)
Do not worry
If you leave this life without knowing Him; do not worry for we all will get a chance to meet Him. If you get out of this life believing anything besides His gospel; do not worry you will get a chance to watch the gospel played out before your eyes!
The only thing that will matter at that point, is if you knew Him or not! If you do not know Christ as Lord; now is the time. Confess and believe, for as our precious brother Paul states:
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." - (Romans 10:9-10 KJV)
