At the Seat of the Eternal Judge

Let’s talk about the autobiography that you are writing. Yes, you! Whether you like it or not, you are writing your autobiography and it is being updated every day! With every action, every deed and every idle word that you speak; you are writing your story that will be revealed at the Judgment Seat of Jesus Christ!

Every action

As you appear before the Judgment Seat of Jesus Christ, you will answer for all that you have done in the body! As Paul records for us in his second letter to Corinth:

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” - (2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV)

Yes, a record of all of your actions; including those things that you thought that no one saw! 

Every idle word

Every idle word that you have spoken will be replayed for you! You will get to hear and answer for those choice words that you like to use. As recorded for us in Matthew’s account of our Lord’s Gospel; our Lord states:

“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” - 
(Matthew 12:36-37 KJV)

Will you be ashamed as you stand there with millions and billions of people watching as you give in account for your words? 

At the Voice of the Son of God

Remember, the hour is coming, when those on the earth will look into the clouds and see the King of Kings returning with ten thousand of His saints. Recorded for us by Jude, the prophecy from Enoch states:

“And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” - (Jude 1:14-15 KJV)

And when He says: “RISE”! All that are in the sea, all that are in the grave and all that are in hell will rise to face the eternal judge! As recorded for us in John’s account of our Lord’s Gospel; our Lord states:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.” - (John 5:25 KJV)

Updating every day

With that in mind, let’s return to that autobiography that we spoke about at the beginning. Your actions, your deeds, your thoughts and your words; are all apart of your story! Let me make it clearer; your Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, emails, texts, google search history; are all a part of your story! And your story is being updated every day and it is being kept on a shelf in eternity with your name on it!

This is how you should think; when you think about the life that you will give in account for.

Remember

This will be the final judgment. There are no repeats. You cannot bring anyone to testify for you, nobody will speak on your behalf, there is no getting out of it, there is no getting around it. You will get away with nothing! But what you will do, is stand alone at the seat of the eternal judge and give in account for your life!

I understand why the precious prophet Amos states: 

“Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.”  - 
(Amos 5:18 KJV)

So, now that you know that you are writing your autobiography and that it is updating every day; what will you write today?
