If you are looking around at the world today and wondering where is God? I will first ask you, what God are you referring too? Are you referring to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob?

If your answer is yes, my answer is simple! Let’s turn to our Lord’s Word; because He told us where we can find Him!

Throne in Heaven

If you are searching for the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob you can rest easy; for He is located in His throne in the Heavens. How do we know? The precious prophet Isaiah told us:

“Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?” (Isaiah 66:1 KJV)

No, He is not hard to find; you can find Him in the exact same place that He has always been.

As He pleases

You may then say, “why doesn’t He intervene; doesn’t He see what is going on in the world”. If this is you, I will remind you that He does with this world as He pleases!

Do not believe me, let’s turn and take a look at what the psalmist had to say.

“But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.” (Psalm 115:3 KJV)

Yes, our God sees all things and with all things He does as He pleases.

Do not worry

If you have made it this far and still find yourself worrying; do not! Our God knows all things; how do we know? The precious psalmist told us:

"Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me." (Psalm 139:2-5 KJV)

Reader, do not woe yourself with questioning the actions of the creator of all things. Remember, the clay does not question the one who fashions it!

"Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?" (Isaiah 45:9 KJV)

If you are reading this today and do not know Christ as Lord; now is the time to confess and believe in Him.

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
(Romans 10:9-10 KJV)
